Let's do a proper #Caturday song for today's #MusicRecommendation:
Uchikubi Gokumon Doukoukai — 猫の惑星 (Neko no Wakusei / Planet of the Cats)
"""
Even though my house was destroyed
Even though if I go bankrupt
Everything is fine if cats are feeling good
The shape of love in my sacrifice
"""
(not sure how accurate the subtitles are)

On the picture an card is shown with the title "Information" and as subtitle "Shows information about the timezone". The card contains an unordered list of the following items: - This timezone's abbreviation is NDT. - This timezone currently observes DST. - The difference between this timezone and yours is 4 hours and 30 minutes. - The offset of this timezone is: UTC-02:30. - This timezone began on: Sunday, 10 March 2024 03:00:00. - This timezone stops on: Sunday, 03 November 2024 01:00:00.

The swifts (Mauersegler) are back. We’ve been waiting for them for some days now. Today my wife and I were talking about it and then spotted the first scouts. We love their joy, play and acrobatics in the sky. Soon there will be hundreds around. But hard to photograph because they are so fast.

"The Marvels" is a terrible film but it's a terrible film because Marvel make terrible films, not because it's female-led or "woke" or any of the other nonsense reasons the right-wing loons spouted. It's no worse than any of The Avengers or Fast and Furious or Mission Impossible etc.

Spotted a yellow-crowned night heron and a black rat snake on yesterday's neighborhood walk. (I think that's what they are, but open to being corrected.)
Saw them both within 100-150 ft of each other, on the 6th km of an otherwise uneventful 7.5km walk. 😀
Snake video 👇🏽 (none of my clients were able to attach both videos to this post).
